Transmission Abnormal Noise
There are two kinds of abnormal noises in the gearbox: one is the abnormal noise when it is in the neutral position; the other is the abnormal noise when shifting gears while driving.
The reasons are as follows:
(1) The amount of gear oil is insufficient or the quality of the gear oil is too poor;
(2) The gear tooth surface is seriously worn, which makes the meshing clearance too large;
(3) Fatigue spalling or chipping of gear teeth;
(4) The intermediate shaft and the second shaft are excessively worn, or the spline shaft and the inner spline of the gear are severely worn, and the clearance is too large; the shaft is bent or the locking member on the shaft is loose;
(5) The bearing is loose or the cage is damaged;
(6) The non-working parts of the fork contact and rub;
(7) When repairing, the gears are not replaced in pairs, but new gears are replaced individually.
